A small, earthy design studio for those looking for organically derived art with digital accents. Miniature and full size wallpaper, book covers and art prints, plus illustrated ebooks by Jena Vale.
Sarjena Designs creates organically designed digital miniature and full size wallpaper, book covers and art prints.
I create from the unknown — original designs drawn from nature, from the places I visit, and from what rises from within.
Each design begins as a question I can't yet answer. I follow it wherever it leads — into a leaf, into a story, into a small, quiet room — and shape it slowly, until the idea finds its form.
Designed by hand, digitally enhanced
Miniature wallpaper, art prints, and book covers — with art prints scaled up for full-size walls — a small, considered collection, organically designed digital pieces.
Cinnamon TeaPapering small rooms
Original wallpapers at miniature scale — soft, storied prints to paper the walls of a dollhouse or a small room, warm as a shelf of well-loved books.
Cover design example
A whole story in a single breath
Original cover art at miniature scale — tiny books with real presence, made for dollhouse shelves and small libraries.
Fallen began as a photograph of an upturned tree — roots reaching outward like something held too long, then let go.
The small world, scaled up
The same original designs, printed large — gallery canvases and fine-art prints for full-size walls, so a little of the small-world magic can hang in your own home.
Made to furnish small spaces
Designs made to live at miniature scale. Here they are at home — soft wallpaper on the walls — giving a small room its whole quiet world.
The room is a setting, not for sale — a way to see the wallpaper and book covers at home.
Illustrated ebooks
Jena Vale is the pen name I write under: poetry for healing, river poems, and a picture book for little ones. Each is an instant digital download.
Every design is still finding its way.
